This is the complete schedule for PiratePalooza*Con, to be held on Saturday, Novembarrrr 22nd, 2025 and Sunday, Novembarrrr 23rd, 2025
Ahoy, Captains and Crewmates!
This year PiratePalooza has been transformed into a 2-Day pirate convention!

TWO DAYS OF PIRATE FUN!!!
Our first Day is an invasion of Downtown Atlanta, ending at Trader Vic’s, filled with music and a costume contest. Day Two will be an awesome wrap party at Monks Meadery for the launch of Shipwrecked Sriki Tiki, a new mead aged in rum barrels! There will even be badges!!

DAY ONE: TROPICAL INVASION
As we prepare to plunge into the tropical seas for PiratePalooza*Con, here is your guide to the day’s landings, launches, and libations. This briefing will help you plan your route, pace yourself, and make the most of our traditional invasion! (Click here to view map of route)
Souvenir Badges (not required for attendance!)

PiratePalooza is absolutely free yet again this year, but Captain Drew WILL be selling official collectible souvenir badges for $10 a piece. Cash is preferred, but you can also buy them online!
2:30pm – 4:00pm
Meehan’s Public House
This is our jump-off point. Arrive early, get your bearings, and meet the rest of the fleet. It’s a relaxed start and a good chance for group photos before the march begins. Overflow location: Twenty Two Storys bar in the Hyatt Regency lobby.
4:00pm – 5:30pm
Marriott Marquis Pulse Bar
We make land at the Marquis next. Expect more pirates and a fun hang! This stop will provide some great photo opportunities! Be sure to tip your servers at the available restaurant bars!
5:00pm – 10:30pm
Trader Vic’s and the Mai Tai Bar
Our final landing for the evening. This is where adventures continue long after sunset. Good food, strong drinks, and the unmistakable atmosphere of a tropical hideout will complete our night’s journey. Many a crewmate has become comfortably lost in this rum-filled locale.
PiratePalooza Pub Sing!
This year we are pleased to announce that Tenpenny Travelers and Toucan Dubh will be performing LIVE on the Lido Deck in the Mai Tai Bar at Trader Vic’s!

Costume Contest!
Since this year’s PiratePalooza is a sci-fi convention, what could be better than a costume contest? Entry is free, prizes are MAYBE, and everybody will have fun or else!
Safety and Code of Conduct
- Keep things friendly and respectful.
- Tip your servers well!
- Do not bring realistic weapon props.
- Drink responsibly and pace yourself.
- Use rideshare or a designated driver if needed.
- If you see anything concerning, notify venue security.
Bonus Notes
Some attendees will be trading or gifting small items, including themed pins! Feel free to participate! Trinket trading is encouraged at PiratePalooza*Con!!!
Final Call
Whether you have sailed with us for years or this is your maiden voyage, PiratePalooza*Con promises a lively, memorable adventure filled with fellowship, spectacle, and fine spirits. Arrive ready, stay aware, and may your evening be full of good company and tall tales.
Afterparty
Some pirates may set sail for a late-night snack at the Metro Diner and Bar, about a 7 minute walk from Trader Vic’s.
Tips
Parking downtown can be expensive. Trader Vic’s often validates parking for customers who self-park at the Hilton deck, but please be aware that you must dine/drink at the restaurant to achieve this unlock code, and depending on the duration of your parking time validation may not cover the entire parking fee.
DAY TWO: Wrap Party at Monk’s Meadery

Monks Meadery is launching their new Shipwrecked Sriki Tiki at our wrap party, which will take place on Sunday, November 23rd from 2pm to 5pm! This new mead is made with pineapple, almond, and star anise then aged in rum barrels with an 10% ABV.
Attendees with a PiratePalooza*Con badge will get a free 3oz pour of Monk’s Mead & be entered to win a raffle prize!
Monk’s Meadery is located at 579 N Highland Ave NE Atlanta, GA 30307 (click for map).
See you on deck!
Captain Drew
