Joni Minstrel Kicks the King

This weekend one of my crew “intercepted” a shipment of Village Protest Singer Joni Minstrel’s brand new album titled “Joni Minstrel Kicks the King”. We first used them as signal mirrors, then we gave ’em a go as dinner plates but they leaked in the middle. Finally, we got tired and put one into our cursed music box and pressed PLAY.

Happily, this album is a strong followup to her previous Renfaire-themed album “Joni Minstrel & The Revolution Against Monarchs“, Joni packs eleven songs onto this oversized silver doubloon. The songs:

  1. Whiskey and Beer
  2. Good King Dick
  3. The Raggle-Taggle Gypsies
  4. This Song Will Have to Do
  5. Black is the Color
  6. My Own Hero
  7. Mattie Groves
  8. I Protest
  9. The Trees Grow High
  10. Health to the Company
  11. A Day in the Life of Joni Minstrel

A good mix of her signature protest songs, a dash of crowd participation tunes and a pinch of traditional faire fare that will remind you of many of the groups who’ve crossed the boards of the Brewer’s Pub over the years. Available directly from Joni at the Brewer’s Pub and probably soon from CDBaby.com – for now keep an eye on Lindsay Smith’s Website for the lastest on how and where to buy the newest album by Joni Minstrel.

Update!
Using her elaborate network of spies, a dreaded comfy chair and something called “email” Joni Minstrel has alerted us that her album is now available online from CDBaby.com, Click Here to find out how to purchase Joni’s latest album!!
