This year’s PiratePalooza shirts are Now Available for purchase at our official store for 2006, the Boswell Gallery in downtown Decatur!! Since there’s no way to know how many people are planning on pre-purchasing their shirts I don’t know whether to assure you that we’ll have your style/size on the night of the Palooza or to scream at you to hurry down to the gallery and buy your shirts now. The one thing that I do know is that the screeners at T-Shirt Designs Inc. over in Avondale Estates have done a marvelous job with this year’s shirts and that you’re sure to enjoy wearing them anywhere you go!

Note that a selection of ladies shirts from the first PiratePalooza will be available the night of the Palooza for $15/each if you’d like to own a “historic” bit of Palooza memorabilia.

This year’s T-shirts will go to the printer by the end of next week and there have been some updates.

• Shirt Switch Due to numerous requests we are switching the baseball-style shirts to “Classic” black T-shirts. Please note: if you’re a girl who likes to show off her curves you’ll probably want to buy the pink and white cap sleeve shirt instead.
• Sponsors Welcome This year I am officially looking for sponsors for the PiratePalooza T-shirts, at two levels of sponsorship: RUM and GOLD.
  • RUM LEVEL
    For $75 you can have your company’s name featured on the back of the black T-shirts, be listed on the sponsors page of our website until next spring, given 1 complimentary commemorative T-shirt and may order additional T-shirts at cost.
  • GOLD LEVEL
    For $150 you can have your company’s logo featured on the back of the black T-shirts, be listed on the sponsors page of our website until next spring, given 2 complimentary commemorative T-shirts and may order additional T-shirts at cost.

  Please help spread the word about this, these shirts aren’t cheap to make and it would be really nice to keep the cost down for those of you who want to buy them. For an additional fee your company can have Cap’n Drew and his crew shoot an internet advertisement about your product, after all, the Yiddish word word for pirate is shill

• Glow? No. For now. The rumors of glow-in-the-dark shirts are only rumors. For now.

Those of you who were at the very first PiratePalooza in September of ’05 may have purchased a T-shirt or a babydoll-T as a souvenir, sure to be a valuable commodity twenty years from now. This year there are two entirely new shirt designs, which we’ll debut a little closer to the Palooza. In the meantime we need your size!
